I'm calling to apologize. During the soccer game, I wasn't really trying to play my best for a whole bunch of reasons that I rather not get into. But regardless, it was wrong with me to drag the rest of you down with me.

[For a moment, Ken doesn't rely. Not that he was upset, there was something else he wanted to say but he wasn't sure how.]

It's fine, I'm not really upset. If anything, I was the one who got overconfident and thought I could help the team win.

[Although, now with the guilt on his shoulders, all he could do was sigh.]

Yeah, you really don't have to apologize for that. The other team had a giant for a goalie. I don't think a pro-soccer player would've won against that.

Wouldn't have stopped me from trying. I did fight against various gods before so that would be nothing.

Yeaaah, jury's still out on that one. But this is my last in a string of awkward conversations about that game, so that's an upside.

When I hope these conversations have been going well for you? Because I hope nobody blamed you for what happened.

Kid, I wished they blamed me. I'm a pro at handling people blaming me for stuff.

But no, they all decided to blame themselves and I got to bare witness to a whole myriad of guilt complexes. I know I'm screwed up, but yeeeeesh the others got problems.

[Ken wanted to say something but instead? He kept his mouth shut. As much as he wanted to ask about why people kept blaming him for things, he knew he should wait until Zelos was comfortable with it.

Instead, he'll say this.]

[He says that part flately, before immediately going into a much jovial tone]

I live by the shopping street but I could meet in front of the Infinite IKEA.

I have absolutely no idea what an IKEA is but okay? What does it look like? Is it some kind of...

From what I remember, it's supposed to be a giant furniture store in America. Although, I also know it's really big and you could easily get lost in it?

Why does it need to be that big? Don't people just ask for a carpenter to make their furniture for them?

[Varian's still struggling with the concept of commercial stores vs actual artisan work. ]

In our world, there are a lot of people and we don't have enough carpenters. Having a store with a lot of premade furniture would be for the best.

If that makes any sense?

Wait what? It's all premade? So you just...walk into a store and pick up like, a whole bookcase? How big must these places be if they have all those premade pieces of furniture in there?
